In an exhilarating clash, Harlow edged out Wymondham 41–32 in a game that had supporters on the edge of their seats from start to finish. The two sides could not be separated at half-time — it was 20–20 at the break — as momentum swung back and forth with both teams showcasing attacking intent and committed defence.

Tries flowed throughout the contest, with each team responding to pivotal moments and turning defensive stands into scoring opportunities. The second half saw Harlow just get the upper hand, finishing strongly to secure a nine-point victory in a match that truly embodied the spirit of community rugby with a total of ten tries scored on the day.

The day was about far more than rugby, with the match proudly doubling as a charity fundraiser in support of St Clare Hospice. Players, supporters, families and local businesses came together through a lively raffle and auction, generously donated prizes, and try-scored pledges that added extra excitement to every score.

From collecting on the sidelines to volunteers coordinating ticket sales and donations, the community effort was outstanding.

Thanks to everyone who contributed, an incredible £5,600+ was raised on the day, helping St Clare Hospice continue its vital work supporting local people and families.
