Princeps Electronics is pleased to announce the promotion of Andrew Green to Product and Capabilities Manager, a newly created role that reflects the company's growing commitment to delivering trusted supply chain solutions for defence, aerospace, rail and other mission-critical industries.

Andrew brings over seven years of experience in Quality Management, Operations and Inspections at Princeps, most recently serving as Operations Manager. In his new position, he is responsible for developing franchise partnerships, expanding the company's testing and inspection capabilities, and aligning products, services and suppliers to meet the evolving needs of high-reliability sectors.

"This role is about strengthening how we connect our franchise partners, laboratory capabilities and supply chain expertise directly to customer needs," Andrew explained. "We're not just supplying product, we're delivering capability. That means aligning technical solutions, inspection and test strategies and supply chain risk mitigation around what our customers are actually trying to achieve at programme level."

Sales Director David Nash echoed that ambition. "Andrew has been instrumental in shaping how we operate, and this promotion is a natural next step. His depth of knowledge across quality, operations and inspection means he's uniquely placed to drive the capabilities side of the business forward. Customers in high-reliability sectors need more than a supplier, they need a partner who understands the technical and programme pressures they're working under. Andrew gives us the ability to offer exactly that."

A significant part of Andrew's remit will involve working closely with manufacturing and technology partners to ensure Princeps continues to offer more than components alone. He will also lead the expansion of the company's internal laboratory services, including counterfeit avoidance, test planning and advanced inspection, all designed to keep pace with industry standards and customer expectations.

Andrew is passionate about counterfeit mitigation and maintaining the high levels of quality and trust that underpin Princeps' AS9120 and AS6081 certifications along with their recently achieved ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation covering AS6171 counterfeit detection testing and Test Methods 2A, 3, 4 and 5. Andrew is a strong advocate for continuous improvement, both within his team and across the business.

"The core objective is simple," he said. "Make it easier for customers to access trusted product, validated through robust inspection and supported by strong technical partnerships."

Andrew holds a Level 5 Diploma in Supply Chain and Operations Management, a BTEC National Diploma in Business, and a range of industry certifications including Team Leader/Supervisor Level 3, First Article Inspection Training and Intercept Level 2 Certification. He is proficient in root cause analysis, corrective actions and warehouse operations and regularly undertakes CPD courses to enhance his capabilities and those of the wider Princeps team.

Beyond his technical expertise, Andrew is committed to corporate social responsibility and enjoys creating opportunities for Princeps to support charities in the local community. He is also an active content creator for the company, helping to showcase Princeps' inspection and laboratory work across digital channels.

Andrew is keen to connect with partners, customers and industry professionals working in environments where supply chain assurance, traceability and inspection capability are becoming increasingly critical.
