Princeps is delighted to announce our appointment by KEC Ltd as the new exclusive authorised stocking distributor for KEC’s renowned range of EMC Circular Backshells.
The agreement was formally announced at the DSEI UK 2025 Defence Exhibition & Trade Show, held earlier this month at the London ExCeL arena. Princeps mission remains to streamline both the sourcing and technical offerings of fully traceable electronic, electrical, and electro-mechanical components, supporting a global customer spanning many high reliability industries from its Harlow, UK premises.
KEC are a UK based manufacturer, who for 40 years have been providing premium quality EMC and environmental protection interconnect products.
KEC’s range of circular backshells are ideal for the same aerospace, defence and high-end industrial sectors that Princeps customer base also operates within and through this partnership we can offer both design assistance combined with the quickest turnaround of backshell product on the market, all reinforced by expertise and UK-based manufacturing and support.
Princeps will now be responsible for stocking and distributing a carefully chosen range of EMC circular backshells ranging from different sizes and plating finishes, and we will become a key partner for KEC in their mission to expand the company’s reach into new territories including Europe, USA, Japan, and Australia.
Princeps can also offer design support and part number crossing services towards form/fit/function equivalent products against other products on the marketplace that may be unobtainable through delivery challenges or obsolescence.
The DSEI show was the ideal platform to make this announcement, being one of the world’s biggest global Defence and Aerospace electronics trade fairs that brings together 1000’s of industry colleagues, military officials, and industry leaders to showcase and discuss the latest defence and security technologies across the land, sea, air, space and cyber domains.
